Paper Submission Policy

Currently, submissions to ISROMAC19 are limited to full papers for the IOP Conference Series. However, in order to encourage broader participation and to collect a wider range of contributions, we are coordinating to allow submissions in the form of Extended Abstracts (A4 size, approximately 1–2 pages) as an additional submission category.
At the submission stage, authors are required to submit an abstract consisting of the title, author information, and a summary of approximately 300 words.

For ISROMAC19, authors are requested to select one of the following submission categories:

1. IOP Conference Series Paper

Step 1: Abstract Submission (Open)
Deadline: February 28, 2026
March 14, 2026
Please scroll down and submit using the button below.

Authors who submit under the IOP Conference Series category are required to prepare and submit a full paper in accordance with the IOP author guidelines and templates.
Please note that once a submission is made under the IOP Conference Series category, the submission type cannot be changed, and authors are expected to complete the full-paper submission to IOP.

※Extended Abstracts cannot be submitted via this button.

2. Extended Abstract

Step 1: Abstract Submission (Open)
Deadline: February 28, 2026
     April 30, 2026

As an alternative submission category, authors may submit an Extended Abstract (A4 size, approximately 1–2 pages).
Authors wishing to submit an Extended Abstract should not submit their abstract via the IOP submission system. Instead, they are requested to submit their abstract through the dedicated ISROMAC19 submission form.

The Author Guidelines will also include IOPP’s recommendations, such asmultiple authorship. As a general rule we would advise that an author does not submit more than two articles to a conference. This includes papers that they have co-authored. Our guidance on what constitutes authorship is available on: https://publishingsupport.iopscience.iop.org/questions/ethics-of-authorship/

Peer Review Reports: Reviewers must give a clear statement of recommendation for each paper. Comments must be included to support their recommendation. These comments should be suitable for transmission to the author. Editors and organizers shall only accept papers where there is clear support from the reviewers. The comments can be written on the platform in the free-text box or can be attached to the papers.

Similarity: We recommend a maximum similarity of 30% and would encourage authors to include their references when checking the similarity score. The Proceedings Editors will be able to check the score and type of reuse in more detail during the assessment stage including the references and bibliography. We understand that there are valid reasons for higher similarity, for example, for literature reviews.

Generative AI Tools: There are many responsible and appropriate uses for generative AI within scholarly research and we support authors using it in this manner. When doing so, authors are encouraged to be transparent about their use of any generative AI tools in either the research or the drafting of the manuscript. Authors are also encouraged to maintain records of previous drafts, as well as any prompts used in the editing or generation of material within their manuscript. Please state this in the Acknowledgements of the paper.
